Job Description

Sealed Airis looking for a results-driven Account Manager to join ourCanadian Sales team, focused on Alberta with a strong concentrationaround Calgary. In this role, you’ll manage and grow a mix of existingand new customer accounts by delivering high-performance, value-addedpackaging solutions. You’ll lead strategic initiatives, coordinatewith a dedicated support team, and travel throughout the territory tobuild strong, solution-based partnerships. This is a great opportunityfor a self-starter with a proven sales track record and a passion fordriving customer success.

  • Reporting to the RegionalSales Director for Canada, the successful candidate will be skilled inselling new products, applications and value-added products andservices in Alberta to an existing and new customer base.
  • Must possess the ability to identify, execute and quantify valueactions and projects to ensure success of both the customer base andSealed Air.
  • Creates, monitors and revises lead generationplans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.
  • Develop, maintain and grow territory of both established and newcustomers.
  • The individual will also be responsible forcoordinating the efforts of a sales support team for this territory.
  • The successful candidate will be a self-starter, haveexcellent communication skills, encompassing oral written, andcomputer, as well as strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • High level of integrity and self-discipline is a must.
  • This person will be a road warrior traveling to accounts butwill work from home if not traveling
  • Periodic overnighttravel is required.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 5+years of experience in selling high-performance value-added products
  • Experience in packaging and/or fresh food packaging ispreferred.
  • A demonstrated track record of success inincreasingly progressive sales positions.
  • Exceptionalinterpersonal and presentation skills to interact with customers,internal support organization and field support group.
  • Solid financial business acumen including analytical skills fortenders, budgets and customer sales agreements.
  • Strongcomputer skills in SAP (or a similar ERP system) Word, PowerPoint, andExcel and CRM system.
  • Ability to effectively work in alarge Company within a matrix organizational structure.
  • Commercially competent, with a capability to be involved innegotiating customer contracts for major accounts.
  • Experience with packaged perishable protein products and/or Vacuum /Sealing packaging equipment is a plus
  • Valid passport anddriver's license are required
