Job description

A global, market-leading broker is looking for an experienced Account Handler to join their Construction team in London. This is an excellent opportunity to support a portfolio of construction clients and gain exposure to complex commercial risks within a collaborative and professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage documentation for new business, renewals, and mid-term adjustments
• Accurately maintain client information across internal systems in line with compliance standards
• Obtain renewal terms and explore market options to secure the best outcomes for clients
• Produce renewal submissions and ensure cover is bound ahead of renewal dates
• Handle day-to-day client and insurer queries, including policy confirmations, documentation follow-up, and credit control matters
• Apply legal, regulatory, and internal guidelines to ensure compliant and efficient processes

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in an account handling or broking support role within the insurance sector
• Good working knowledge of the London Market and Lloyd’s environment
• Ideally working towards or holding a CII qualification (Dip CII or FIT desirable)
• Comfortable working in a target-driven, regulated environment
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive, process-focused approach
• Confident handling client data with an understanding of compliance and risk
