Toast is recruiting on behalf of this company for an Account Executive to join a high-performing cybersecurity team focused on driving strategic growth across Western Canada. This is a remote role open to candidates located anywhere in Western Canada. This company is known for delivering cutting-edge cyber solutions with a strong reputation for excellence in both the public and private sectors. The Account Executive will be responsible for managing key client relationships, identifying new opportunities, and developing tailored cybersecurity solutions in a fast-evolving threat landscape. This role offers the chance to work with some of the industry’s most respected security professionals in a collaborative, values-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deepen relationships with clients to ensure retention, satisfaction, and expansion of services.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their evolving cybersecurity needs are met.
  • Execute strategic business development plans to generate new leads and expand into target markets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align on co-selling efforts and integrated service offerings.
  • Translate complex cybersecurity challenges into clear, actionable solutions tailored to client environments.
  • Represent the company at industry events and in client-facing presentations to build brand awareness.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline and activity tracking using CRM tools.
  • Manage sales cycles from prospecting through negotiation and close.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sales or business development, ideally in cybersecurity or technology services.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity concepts and frameworks such as NIST CSF 2.0, or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Comfortable discussing technical subjects with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms and sales tracking systems.
  • Self-starter with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% across Western Canada.
