We're helping a global IT consulting & workforce solutions firm hire an Account Executive for its Toronto team. They're a mature global firm with thousands of employees and consultants across dozens of offices worldwide and a solid track record delivering recruiting and IT solutions projects in the United States & Canada.

As an Account Executive, you'll join a small team of solutions salespeople that sells technology and workforce solutions to businesses across Canada. You'll initially focus on generating staff augmentation & perm recruiting revenue with the option to cross-sell a broad range of consulting services and solutions. If that's new to you, you'll get plenty of support to help you broaden your skill set and reach your potential. You'll get one-on-one coaching and executive sponsorship from the head of sales to help you close large, complex deals, too.

The company launched a dedicated Canadian sales team just a few years ago so there's plenty of untapped opportunity for you to capture throughout the country. They've become a qualified consulting partner and staffing services provider for major blue-chip firms, enterprise players, and SMEs throughout the Canadian tech scene so you'll have a firm foundation to build on. As you win business, you'll be able to rely on mature delivery and back-office teams with a proven record of supporting engagements of all shapes and sizes.

If you can open doors, the company will help you convert your sales activity to more personal income. You'll earn uncapped commissions with accelerators and cash milestone incentives on a lucrative plan that rewards and retains dozens of multi-million dollar billers across North America.

What you'll do

You'll sell IT workforce solutions to businesses across Canada. That includes taking responsibility for the full sales cycle from prospecting to pipeline and deal management through closing.

You'll join a team of experienced professionals who are trusted to independently manage sales activity to deliver consistent results. You'll need to be comfortable building and growing your own book of business without a manager looking over your shoulder or counting your dials. You'll have access to plenty of sales tech, marketing resources, and a generous expense account to help you do it but you'll need a few years of experience in a similar role to be successful.

This is a hybrid role based in the North York office (close to a Line 1 subway station) a few days a week. You'll need to be comfortable coming into the office as well as meeting clients and attending networking events as necessary, too.

What you'll need

  • Recent experience selling IT staff augmentation and permanent recruiting services
  • 3+ years of dedicated experience selling IT workforce solutions with ownership of the full sales cycle
  • A relevant network and working knowledge of the national technology staffing industry, including current and emerging trends & opportunities
  • Previous IT solutions / SOW sales experience could be helpful
  • You must be independently legally-authorized to work in Canada

What you'll earn

This position offers a base salary plus uncapped commissions from the first dollar with additional accelerators and cash incentives to bring your first-year OTE to $125,000–$150,000 based on minimum performance expectations.
