About Motion

Motion is growing fast (3x YoY), our product is sticky, and we recently raised $30M in Series B funding. We've doubled our headcount this year and have just under 60 team members.

We’ve built a new category of software to bridge the gap between performance marketers and creative teams. Our platform combines creative analytics, research, and strategy. Motion is the command center for Creative Strategists.

Our customers include top e-commerce and DTC brands like Vuori, True Classic, The Farmer’s Dog, HexClad, and thousands more. They’ve used Motion to analyze over $6B in media spend.

As an early member of our sales team, you will be expected to set the standard for success at Motion. Our Head of Business Development views our early hires as future company leaders.

We refer to this role internally as an Account Executive, Mid-Market.

About the role :

  • Drive net new and expansion revenue
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact to close
  • Approach clients as future partners, focusing on collaboration rather than just closing deals
  • Advise prospects on implementing effective Performance Creative processes using Motion
  • Use a consultative selling approach to help teams see how Motion addresses their workflow challenges

Who you are :

  • Business development experience at a performance marketing agency
  • Reside in Canada (preferably Greater Toronto Area) or the United States
  • Continuously seek to improve your skills
  • Excellent self-reflection skills with ideas for improvement
  • Strong presentation skills; experience in public speaking or theatre is a plus
  • Humility and a focus on growth, avoiding ego
  • Trustworthy and immediately likable

Compensation : $87,500 base, OTE $175,000 (US), or $87,500 base, OTE $210,000 (Canada).
