Job description

The Account Executive serves as a business contact for regional corporate accounts and VA customers, responsible for driving sales, customer satisfaction, and account maintenance. The role requires providing proactive customer service and representing client needs within the organization to ensure quality.

Additionally, the Account Executive will build relationships with clients to foster new and repeat business, focusing on profitability, organic growth, and relationship building. The primary responsibility is achieving sales growth through proactive account management and territory planning, including establishing customer agreements and GPO conversions across the product portfolio. The role also involves driving capital equipment sales within the territory.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Focus 75% of time on growth selling activities, with 25% on strategic planning and administrative tasks.
  2. Collaborate with sales leadership to implement strategies.
  3. Accurately document customer activities in CRM systems.
  4. Work with teammates on account strategies.
  5. Assess market potential and adjust strategies to meet sales quotas.
  6. Perform pre-call planning, execute calls, and follow up effectively.
  7. Utilize sales tools to manage forecasts and uncover additional revenue opportunities.
  8. Manage customer contract renewals efficiently.
  9. Engage with current and prospective healthcare customers.
  10. Develop and deliver business reviews.
  11. Coordinate capital projects, including conversions and installations.
  12. Understand customer challenges across clinical, financial, operational, and regulatory areas.
  13. Provide product demonstrations and in-service training.
  14. Communicate the total cost of ownership and value propositions clearly.
  15. Manage the sales pipeline from lead to close.
  16. Maintain territory and account plans.
  17. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure customer satisfaction.
  18. Qualify leads and close business to meet sales quotas.
  19. Travel frequently to meet with clients and prospects.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of medical sales experience, preferably in Long Term Care.
  • Strong leadership, prospecting, planning, and negotiation skills.
  • Proven sales success with a track record of meeting quotas.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work remotely without supervision.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and Hubspot CRM.
  • Professionalism and strong customer service skills.
  • Diplomatic handling of sensitive situations.
