This position offers a unique opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to significantly influence the strategic direction and expansion of our enterprise business segment —specifically within the Financial Services industry.We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Account Director – Enterprise to drive business growth across new and existing enterprise clients. This role is ideal for a high-performing sales leader with a proven track record in enterprise business development, client relationship management, and team leadership. Experience working with Financial Services clients—such as banks, insurers, or asset managers—is a strong asset. You will play a pivotal role in shaping account strategies, mentoring junior team members, and expanding our enterprise presence through innovative, data-driven solutions.

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Status: Full-Time, Permanent

Responsibilities:
  • Act as the strategic quarterback for key enterprise accounts, setting the vision for acquisition, retention, and growth
  • Drive new business development by identifying, targeting, and engaging high-value enterprise prospects across diverse industries, including Financial Services
  • Collaborate with channel partners to co-sell solutions and enhance enterprise client success
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and senior stakeholders within enterprise organizations
  • Oversee the development and execution of account plans, proposals, and contracts
  • Analyze sales performance and industry trends to inform strategic decisions and revenue forecasting
  • Partner with internal teams including SMEs and Practice Leads to accelerate sales cycles and improve conversion rates
  • Represent the company at industry events and client engagements, articulating the value of our services and solutions
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and client requirements in all contractual engagements
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by sharing best practices and coaching team members on effective enterprise sales techniques
  • Lead strategic account planning sessions to align client goals with company capabilities and long-term value creation
  • Monitor competitive activity and market shifts to proactively adjust strategies and maintain a competitive edge
  • Represent the enterprise sales team in cross-functional leadership meetings, contributing insights to broader business strategy

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of experience in Account Management, Business Development, or Sales Leadership roles, with a strong focus on Financial Services enterprise clients
  • Demonstrated success in managing complex relationships with Financial Services institutions and navigating long sales cycles
  • Strong background in selling data-centric, cloud, or AI-driven solutions to Financial Services organizations
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, regulated environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing decisions, negotiating, and fostering relationships at all levels, including with C-level executives in Financial Services firms
  • Experience working with Microsoft, AWS, Databricks, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or a recognized system integrator is preferred
  • Familiarity with Financial Services regulations, compliance frameworks, and data governance standards is a strong asset
