Account Executive - Energy & Utilities - (Calgary or Vancouver)

Wipro’s Energy & Utilities strategic market unit has an exciting opportunity for an Account Executive (AE) based in Vancouver or Calgary. The AE is a specialized sales professional responsible for managing relationships with Wipro’s strategic accounts and possessing a deep understanding of the industry domain.

  1. Key Responsibilities:
  2. Build and maintain relationships at the executive level within client organizations, identifying opportunities for Wipro.
  3. Focus on sales growth, managing profit and loss metrics for the account(s).
  4. Develop and execute account plans and budgets in collaboration with sales and industry leaders.
  5. Achieve contract renewals and pursue new business development for growth.
  6. Oversee delivery management to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
  7. Participate in industry events, host alliance partner events, and present Wipro’s value propositions.

Qualifications:

  1. Minimum 10+ years of experience pitching, presenting, and selling IT Portfolio Services to C-level clients, especially in the Energy & Utilities sector.
  2. Proven track record as a Profit & Loss owner with responsibility for new sales growth.
  3. Experience selling a broad range of IT services, including Cloud, Data, Analytics, Infrastructure, AI, Cybersecurity, and Digital.
  4. History of exceeding revenue, bookings, and margin targets.
  5. Strong knowledge of global delivery models and offshore team collaboration.
  6. Excellent communication skills and ability to partner across internal teams and service lines.
