Tag in Toronto is seeking an Account Executive, Sourcing to transform client ideas into print and promotional materials. You will act as the bridge between clients and suppliers, manage quotations through delivery, and ensure projects meet timelines, budgets, and internal standards.

You’ll work with the procurement team to identify suppliers, negotiate costs, maintain benchmarks, and keep clients informed at every step. Print and promo program experience is a huge plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years in a print procurement or print vendor management environment.
• Intermediate MS Office skills and strong numerical ability.

Responsabilités

• Manage print and premium promotional programs, including timelines, costing, sampling, and supplier coordination.
• Understand litho printing processes and advise on equipment and suppliers for print jobs.
• Advise on cost-effective formats; work with clients and vendors to optimize print projects.
• Provide technical input and guidance on print projects as needed.
• Negotiate project terms and manage procurement to meet specifications and deadlines.
• Procure print materials and ensure on-time delivery within budget and contractual targets.
• Gather accurate client information and draft production briefs.
• Produce detailed print specifications for suppliers and track all projects in procurement tool.
• Adhere to ordering and billing processes and work within Tag's operating budget.
• Develop understanding of the client's business and industry; build strong client and supplier relationships.
• Stay informed on industry tech advances and their benefit to the client.
• Address client/supplier issues and escalate when appropriate.

As Account Executive, Sourcing, you’ll play a key role in turning client ideas into expertly delivered print and campaign materials. Acting as the link between clients and suppliers, you’ll provide responsive, exceptional service from quotation through delivery—keeping clients informed every step of the way. Working closely with the central procurement team, you’ll identify the right suppliers, negotiate costs and timelines, maintain benchmark information, and ensure every job is processed efficiently and in line with internal procedures.

Role Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience managing print and premium promotional programs, influencers mailers and PR kits, production processes, specifications, timelines, costing, sampling/proofing, and supplier coordination.
• Full understanding of litho (sheet/web) print process, advising on most suitable equipment and suppliers for all print jobs
• Advise on economic formats, work with clients and vendors to derive cost effective and fit for print projects
• Provide technical input and advice on print projects as required
• Project relevant negotiations as and where needed
• Procurement of print, delivering on time, to specification, to quality and to contractual targets
• Take accurate information from our Clients, formulating full production briefs
• Produce detailed print specifications to suppliers
• Maintain tracking of all projects in procurement tool
• Adhere to defined ordering authorization and billing process
• Work within Tag's operating budget
• Develop a good understanding of the client's business and industry sector
• Build relationships with clients and manage their perceptions and expectations
• Develop strong relationships with suppliers
• Demonstrate an understanding of the technological direction of the industry and how these advances will benefit the client
• Resolve client/supplier issues, elevate where appropriate

Role Qualifications & Required Skills

• Bachelor's Degree. A combination of education and work experience can be substituted.
• 2+ years previous experience in a similar print procurement or print vendor management environment
• Intermediate skill level with MS Office
• Organized with excellent attention to detail
• Experience in managing a budget and achieving targets
• Excellent client facing and customer service skills, with an ability to build relationships and develop new business
• Commercially strong and numerate
• Committed, resilient and prepared to work extra hours as required
• Experience of working in an environment where priorities are constantly changing. Can manage change, and keep a clear perspective of end goals
• Team worker, with positive outlook who can inspire and motivates peers
• Focus on project management, timely delivery and achievement of Key Performance Indicators
