Altis Recruitment & Technology is on the search for a dynamic Account Executive based in Calgary, to join our growing team and represent both Altis Recruitment and Altis Technology. If you have 3+ years of experience in the staffing industry and a knack for building lasting relationships across IT and Non-IT markets, this is your chance to take your career to the next level! Key Responsibilities : Your main responsibilities will include but may not be limited to :

  • Actively engaging with clients and responsible for expanding our presence in the Western Canada marketplace across both IT and non-IT staffing verticals, with a strong focus on expanding business across the private sector.
  • Identifying new clients and business opportunities to pursue.
  • Listening and drawing out the concerns and problems of clients to identify staffing solutions.
  • Calling into former clients to assess current business needs.
  • Utilizing LinkedIn to identify prospects and set up meetings.
  • Preparing and delivering presentations on staffing services.
  • Preparing and reporting on goals, sales, and prospects.
  • Participating in virtual and in-person networking events and conferences on behalf of the company.
  • Negotiating and closing deals; handling complaints or objections.
  • Pursuing Vendor Agreements and staying on top of renewal dates.
  • Retaining clients by providing superior customer service and staffing support.
  • Ensuring we don’t miss opportunities for new business with existing accounts.
  • Mushrooming existing users to generate new business and grow sales.
  • Cross-selling to identify opportunities for other divisions.
  • Marketing strong candidate resources based on client needs.
  • Resolving any issues that come up throughout the placement process.
  • Conducting after placement service calls and visits with both candidates and clients.
  • Visiting top users on a quarterly basis.
  • Adhering to our high level of service standards and delivery.

Qualifications & Experience Must have :

  • 3+ years of direct experience within the staffing industry
  • Passion for business development; creating and fostering new client relationships
  • You are a driven professional who is self-motivated for achieving and exceeding individual and team goals
  • Focused on driving client / candidate success and delivering the ultimate customer experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines
  • Natural curiosity about people, their backgrounds and experience
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Comfortable working from a remote setting with frequent in-person and virtual client meetings
  • Technical aptitude in the use of business software
