Overview:

Ainsworth Inc is currently searching for a highly skilled and accomplished Account Executive, focused on Building Automation Systems (BAS), to join our growing team in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

Along with experience in BAS sales and service, the ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of mechanical and HVAC systems, and strategic multi-discipline, multi-trade sales.

As a member of our Toronto-based sales team, your primary focus will be on expanding our market presence by collaborating and securing new business with consultants, contractors, and owners in the Central Ontario market. We seek an ambitious, results-driven individual committed to achieving growth targets and expanding market share. This role requires a high level of sales expertise, including establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.

In this role, you'll be responsible for:

  1. Expanding our Reach: Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and building owners to identify new business opportunities and secure lucrative contracts.
  2. Strategic Salesmanship: Develop compelling proposals that showcase the value of our BAS solutions and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
  3. Building Trust & Credibility: Foster strong relationships with decision-makers, understand their needs, and demonstrate technical expertise to build loyalty.
  4. Exceeding Expectations: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to surpass sales objectives and grow market share.
  5. Profitable Growth: Optimize profit margins while securing sales orders within your designated accounts.
Qualifications:
  • University or college-level technical degree or diploma
  • 5+ years of proven successful sales experience with a passion for growth
  • Strong skills in building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, technical, and financial skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral
