ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE – ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN

Our client is one of the fastest growing companies in Western Canada. With a mandate to double in revenue over the next 3 years, the company has transformed itself to win the largest projects in the market. With significant pent up market demand on office projects due to Covid 19, they are in a period of continuous momentum and growth. As a leader in the market of office concepts/interiors, our client thrives to work closely with their A/D partners. Their proprietary project management approach has created a 91.24% Net Promoter Score (NPS) among its client base.

The Account Executive will develop, maintain, and grow executive level relationships with key business stakeholders within their accounts. They will develop new business relationships with clients using a solutions-based and consultative sales approach. They will develop and maintain a clear account strategy that leads to the achievement of specific objectives, working within their dedicated project team.

Responsibilities

  1. Prospect, strategize and qualify new business opportunities through relationship building, cold & warm calling, networking, and leveraging referrals.
  2. Manage executive level relationships in existing accounts to ensure client satisfaction and ongoing business relationships.
  3. Maintain close contact with key influencers within existing accounts.
  4. Develop a deep knowledge of all manufacture partner products and service offerings and incorporate those products and services into the sales process within their accounts.
  5. Maintain awareness of key industry events and networking opportunities. Actively participate in these activities on a regular basis to develop leads and deeper relationships with key influencers – designers, facilities leaders, administrators.
  6. Provide outstanding service and value through collaborative problem-solving and timely response to client requests.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  1. A strong network within the A/D community.
  2. Must be self-motivated, have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully present products and services to clients.
  3. High energy individual who thrives on networking and has the confidence to lead.
  4. Must be capable of strategically analyzing and deconstructing projects, ensuring efficient execution across the entire sales cycle.
  5. Must be able to take ownership of their projects, demonstrating initiative, responsibility, and a proactive approach to achieving successful outcomes.
  6. Prior experience interfacing and managing clients, working with multiple vendors.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as strong presentation skills.
  8. Excellent listening skills and ability to work with multiple clients simultaneously.
  9. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and independently apply logical reasoning and sound judgment to solve problems and make decisions.
  10. Must be assertive, flexible, and have a strong sense of urgency.
  11. High capacity to learn, strong computer and analytical capability.

Education/Experience

  1. Post-Secondary education Degree – University, College, Technical Institute.
  2. Hybrid Work Model consisting of a work-from-home component with a focus on outside sales. Additionally, one day per week working from our Yaletown Collaboration Centre – Laptop computer provided for role.
  3. Licensed driver with vehicle required for transportation to visit clients.

Remuneration

$75k - $85k Base Salary Plus Uncapped Commission
