Job summary

A leading beauty company is seeking an Account Executive to drive sales growth and manage the Calgary and Saskatchewan territories. This role involves executing sales strategies, building relationships with retail partners like Sephora, and delivering training and support in-store. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in the beauty industry and strong sales acumen. The position is full-time and reports to the Senior Manager, National Sales & Education Team.

Qualifications

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle required.
  • Previous experience working with Sephora or other prestige beauty retailers is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and execute field level sales strategies to drive retail performance.

Job Summary

The Account Executive (AE) plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth, strengthening brand presence, and building impactful partnerships with key retail partners — most notably Sephora. This position will be responsible for managing the Calgary and Saskatchewan territories, ensuring executional excellence, strategic account management, and strong field leadership to achieve business objectives. As the primary link between retail teams and internal stakeholders, the AE is responsible for executing education programs, supporting in-store initiatives, and delivering engaging brand activations with excellence and efficiency. This role requires a strategic, hands‑on professional who thrives in a dynamic retail environment and is energized by skincare, innovation and consumer engagement. With a deep understanding of the Canadian beauty market, the AE will champion the brand’s presence and performance across their territory. The candidate will embrace “No task is too big or too small when it comes to creating a more beautiful world.” This position reports directly to the Senior Manager, National Sales & Education Team.

Principal Accountabilities

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Sales Strategy & Execution – Implement and execute field level sales strategies to drive retail performance and meet sales targets across Sephora and other key retail partners.
  • Retail Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with retail leadership and Beauty Advisors to drive brand awareness, advocacy, and performance.
  • Training & Education – Deliver impactful product knowledge and brand training sessions (instore and virtual) to ensure sales teams are confident, engaged, and aligned with brand values
  • Merchandising & Inventory Management – Maintain merchandising excellence, ensuring gondola standards are met and stock levels are optimized for business needs.
  • Event & Activation Support – Execute in-store events, masterclasses, and special activations to boost consumer engagement and brand experience.
  • Business Reporting & Administration – Track and analyze sales performance, training impact, event ROI; submit timely reports and manage all administrative responsibilities accurately.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Partner closely with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, and Education teams to align on brand strategies and deliver flawless field execution.
  • Store Visits & Territory Management – Conduct regular in-store visits to coach, support and motivate retail teams while ensuring alignment with brand goals and standards.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent education and experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, account management or retail operations within the beauty or skincare industry.
  • Previous experience working with Sephora or other prestige beauty retailers is a strong asset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); experience with sales reporting tools preferred.
  • Experienced in delivering training and education al content in both virtual and in‑store settings.
  • Proven success in event planning, visual merchandising, driving retail sales, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable access to a vehicle required.
