Account Executive – Data & Digital Solutions

Our client is a growing consulting and analytics firm helping energy companies turn operational data into clear, measurable outcomes. With deep expertise in data historian systems, predictive analytics, and custom engineering solutions, they work closely with operators, engineers, and IT teams to improve performance and reduce risk.

They’re hiring an Account Executive to lead business development across North America. This is a strategic, hands-on role that will work directly with senior leadership to shape the sales function, while actively identifying and closing new opportunities.

This role involves working closely with both business and IT stakeholders, so ease in navigating technical conversations is a strong asset. You’ll be connecting dots across teams, ensuring alignment as opportunities move from exploration to execution.

This is a high-impact role for someone who’s resourceful, commercially minded, and ready to take ownership in a growing company where your work directly shapes how they sell, deliver, and grow.

What You’ll Do

  • Identify, engage, and close new business opportunities in energy and industrial markets
  • Build trusted relationships with commercial, technical, and IT stakeholders
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close and onboarding
  • Help design and manage CRM processes, pipeline tracking, and reporting
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to scope and deliver client solutions
  • Support messaging, proposal development, and account expansion strategies

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, account management, or full-cycle sales
  • Experience in technical consulting, analytics, or industrial software
  • Familiarity with oil and gas, energy, or industrial sectors strongly preferred
  • Ability to communicate fluently with both technical and business audiences, including IT leaders
