Burson is looking for an Influencer Marketing Account Director to join our team. Influencer marketing is a core part of our business, and we seek someone passionate about this world. We’re looking for candidates who are social-first, tapped in, passionate about lifestyle consumer brands, and have experience in client service and account management.

What You'll Do

  1. Support end-to-end influencer strategy and execution to maximize the impact of the brand story.
  2. Develop annual influencer-first strategies, ideas, and frameworks for clients; create compelling content for various brands; stay updated on trending content and audience behaviors.
  3. Manage a high volume of influencer campaigns, ensuring they are on budget, on time, and aligned with strategy, with strong project management skills.
  4. Establish and maintain relationships with key contacts in the influencer space and nurture client/agency relationships at multiple levels.
  5. Oversee research, identification, negotiation, project management, and measurement of influencer programs, including paid collaborations, based on strategic plans from senior team & clients.
  6. Review and approve campaign reports by tracking and optimizing organic and paid influencer content, providing actionable insights.
  7. Stay informed on emerging social trends, platforms, technologies, and influencers in the Canadian market.
  8. Lead social media listening and research to identify trends and key influencers.
  9. Collaborate with senior leads to educate and share knowledge on trends and best practices.
  10. Manage client relationships and own the client experience.

Experience That Contributes To Success

  • 7-10 years’ experience in PR & Influencer relations.
  • A strategic mindset and deep knowledge of social media trends.
  • Client service orientation with the ability to manage complex projects and multiple stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to develop authentic influencer relationships that tell impactful stories.
  • Ability to utilize metrics and insights from platforms like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging channels for optimization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
