Who Are We Looking For

We are seeking an Account Director who is a natural leader, both for clients and internal teams, to take charge of daily account management while delivering excellent client service and high-quality work. The right candidate will leverage their deep knowledge of influencer programs, social media and content to craft strategic plans with forward-thinking solutions. With solid business acumen, you will act as the key client relationship manager, demonstrating genuine passion for the clients’ industries, business, products, and growth opportunities. You will demonstrate excellence in anticipating needs, guiding your team to deliver work with clear impact, and creating a positive working culture.

What You’ll Do

  • Work within a highly collaborative integrated team of creatives, strategists, editors and communicators, delivering content, influencer & social campaigns that earn attention
  • Own workstreams and programs; build trust with client partners and internal teams
  • Lead client meetings and guide the team toward the achievement of client objectives; think through facts, diagnose a situation, and find a solution to help a client’s business and team prosper
  • Become an expert in the client’s field, speaking clearly to the competitive landscape, products, services, trends, and brand positions
  • Present creative concepts and lead end-to-end quality control and flawless execution of campaigns
  • Establish and grow strong relationships with internal teams, external agency partners, and global SJR offices
  • Manage and mentor a great team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and results-driven execution
  • Adhere to finance requirements, including submitting invoices and drafting service agreements, establish compliance with scopes of work, maintain revenue forecast, and budgeting
  • Contribute to business development; identify and maximize opportunities for organic growth within existing clients and dive into a pitch when required

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of 8 years’ experience; agency setting preferred
  • Strong understanding of the evolving media and influencer landscape, with experience implementing programs across a variety of platforms and channels
  • Significant experience in professional client relationship management and ability to approach business with confidence and awareness
  • Demonstrated ability to mine insights that form the basis of creative strategies and content programs
  • The ability to act quickly on your feet and an eagerness to think outside the box
  • Strong growth mindset with a capacity for delivering above and beyond the client’s expectations and initial asks
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills to sell concepts and strategy to current and prospective clients
  • Strong commercial acumen and leadership skills; with the ability to mentor and nurture your team
  • Commitment to continuous improvement with a demonstrated drive to respond to feedback through an iterative review process
  • Relentless curiosity with a positive and upbeat attitude
