As an innovative and growing company, our organization specializes in floating modular systems and operates internationally through an established network of distributors. Our solutions are aimed at the residential, industrial, and commercial sectors, and we support our partners in large-scale projects, ranging from private installations to large-scale infrastructure. As part of our strategic development, we are seeking an Account Director to optimize our partners’ performance and structure our expansion into new territories.
Responsibilities
Territory Development and Optimization
- Analyze target territories in North America and develop appropriate growth strategies.
- Define and monitor a structured action plan to achieve development and performance objectives.
- Produce quarterly analyses and reports on partners’ sales and profitability.
Partner Management and Business Development
- Monitor and manage a portfolio of distributors and major accounts.
- Identify and qualify new strategic partners (distributors, sub-distributors, key account clients).
- Support partners in achieving their commercial and operational objectives.
Support, training, and technical expertise
- Train and support new partners to ensure their autonomy and alignment with company standards.
- Provide advanced technical support to sales teams on complex projects.
Leadership and knowledge transfer
- Contribute to the development of internal skills by mentoring account managers and sales representatives.
- Participate in the continuous improvement of performance monitoring processes and tools.
Contribution to strategic positioning
- Act as a brand ambassador and ensure the brand’s image is maintained as an industry standard.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure consistency in the international development strategy.
Desired profile
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, international trade, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in account management, ideally in an international environment with a distribution network.
- Analytical Skills: Experience creating and analyzing sales reports, with strategic recommendations.
- Technologies: Proficiency with an ERP (SAP is an asset).
- Languages: Bilingualism in French and English required, Spanish preferred.
