Overview

The Account Coordinator supports various account teams to ensure the timely, cost-effective, quality management of all client projects. This individual is expected to demonstrate the important characteristics that make us the Veritas brand.

Responsibilities
  • Write contact reports and client memos
  • Ensure media database and contact lists are relevant and up-to-date
  • Develop and maintain work plans; monitor workflows and assignments on all projects
  • Understand the structure of press releases and assist in developing press releases, backgrounders, blogs, etc.
  • Understand the time tracking system; ensure timely and profitable completion of projects
  • Track time and submit timesheets on schedule
  • Proactively communicate challenges in meeting deadlines or budget to managers
  • Understand all agency protocols and processes
  • Monitor, analyze, and distribute media coverage
  • Interpret online and social media objectives based on client briefs
  • Conduct research for new business targets and clients; make recommendations
  • Support client program deliverables under the guidance of the Account Manager or Director
  • Assist in developing presentations as needed
  • Provide logistics support for client events
  • Utilize Online Marketing technologies; stay updated on best practices and latest developments
Qualifications
  • University degree, preferably in PR, Media Relations, or related fields
  • Understanding of measurement tools including MR2P
  • Minimum 3 months related experience
  • Experience in conducting research and preparing reports
  • Knowledge of the media industry and online media landscape
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word (including MAC platform)
  • Strong communication skills, including writing and editing
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of industry, competitors, and media contacts
