Job description

How You Will Impact PLATFORM

The successful candidate will provide service excellence to our customers and insurance markets while working as part of a larger, growing team. We are looking for professionals who want to join an exciting, fast paced environment with a strong learning culture with a focus on overall development.

How You Will Be Successful

  • Support the Account Management and Sales team by assisting with the assigned book of business
  • Execute certificates of insurance as requested by clients within a 2-hour timeframe
  • Ensure copies of certificates of insurance are sent to insurers
  • Coordinate the set up of client information in CS24, EPIC, and any other system as required
  • Provide client access and assistance with the PLATFORM Connect portal
  • Issue liability cards when requested
  • Update schedules (Vehicle, Driver, Contractors Equipment, Blanket Builders Risk) midterm
  • Perform mid-term changes as requested/required by the client
  • Ensure proper use of software and portals
  • Use Insurer portals to obtain documents
  • Request policy changes to insurance companies
  • Ensure all activities, documents and correspondence are correct and inputted into EPIC
  • Review and invoice all endorsements consistent with PLATFORMS rules and procedures
  • Issue Pre-qualification letters
  • Prepare renewal materials including schedules, submissions, applications and renewal comparisons
  • Provide support to team by checking policy documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Execute the issuance of renewal certificates, liability cards, invoices, premium finance contracts, and all other relevant/required documentation within 5 days of renewal order.
  • Enter claims into EPIC and Save open/close notices
  • Request loss runs from Insurers
  • Check EPIC unrouted attachments

Education, Experience, And Qualifications

  • RIBO License
  • Knowledge of Applied Systems EPIC Broker Management System is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Team orientation with strong interpersonal skills
  • Possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
