Job summary

GFX Solutions Ltd. in Oakville, Ontario, is seeking an Accessory Installer to join our Operations team. You will install, replace, and repair vehicle accessories per manufacturer specifications and company quality standards.

This role requires a Grade 12 education, manufacturing experience, a valid G driver's license, and mechanical aptitude with a wide range of hand tools. Day shift with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and/or familiarity with IATF16949 and asset.
• Must possess and maintain a valid G Driver’s license and be over the age of 21.
• Must be mechanically inclined and capable of using a wide variety of hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle builds on a FIFO basis unless priority Drop Ship vehicles require attention.
• Install vehicle accessories and equipment according to specifications and quality standards.
• Ensure all completed vehicles undergo a final inspection prior to shipment and document results.
• Submit completed inspection documentation to the Supervisor.
• Pick up, move, and deliver vehicles as required.
• Maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards while meeting production requirements.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

Ground Effects is currently seeking an Accessory Installer to join our Operations team in Oakville, Ontario.

The Accessory Installer is responsible for installing, replacing, and repairing vehicle accessories and equipment in accordance with manufacturer specifications and company quality standards. This includes the installation of accessories such as grille inserts, side steps, gear shifters, trim components, and other vehicle enhancements using hand and power tools.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete vehicle builds on a First-In, First-Out (FIFO) basis unless otherwise directed by the Supervisor or when priority "Drop Ship" vehicles require immediate attention.
• Install vehicle accessories and equipment according to manufacturer specifications, work instructions, and quality standards.
• Ensure all completed vehicles undergo a final inspection prior to shipment and accurately document results on the required inspection check sheets.
• Submit completed inspection documentation to the Supervisor.
• Pick up, move, and deliver vehicles as required.
• Perform all work safely and in accordance with the Company's Health & Safety Policy and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
• Immediately report any safety concerns, hazards, or incidents to the Supervisor.
• Maintain productivity, quality, and safety standards while meeting established production requirements.
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment and/or familiarity with IATF16949 and asset.
• Must possess and maintain a valid G Driver’s license and be over the age of 21.
• Must be mechanically inclined and capable of using a wide variety of hand tools.
