Job summary

Sun Peaks Resort is seeking an Access Audit Technician to monitor RFID lift access points, uphold the guest experience, and ensure resort safety. You will audit access eligibility, identify violations, log incidents, and assist the Lift Operations team in resolving RFID issues.

This on-site role requires strong communication, computer literacy, and attention to detail. Perks include season passes, employee assistance, dining/retail discounts, and family rates.

Qualifications

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong computer literacy with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
• Experience with RFID/SKIDATA or related access-control tech is an asset.
• Calm, professional handling of guest inquiries and incidents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time RFID system traffic to ensure guest compliance and log daily audits.
• Identify violations and review security footage to collect evidence.
• Respond professionally to guest emails about eligibility and policies.
• Maintain communication with Lift Operations to resolve RFID issues.
• Follow guidance from Access Audit Supervisor and Lead Technician.

As an Access Audit Technician, you will monitor our RFID lift access points to prevent unauthorized entry, identify potential loss, investigate suspicious activity, and troubleshoot ticketing issues. Compensation Information: $19.35 per hour

Physical Requirement: Light; activities involve handling loads up to 10kg; predominantly in an indoor setting; prolonged periods of time at desk/screen.

This job position requires physical presence at the designated location.

This role is eligible for an incentive for successful applicants to receive $1 per hour worked based on completion of a full winter season contract. Conditions apply to this incentive and will be shared during the interview and onboarding process.

Skills You Bring With You

• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with full proficiency in English.
• Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks under strict timelines.
• Experience with SKIDATA, RFID technology, RTP resort management, or two-way radios is an asset.
• Ability to handle guest inquiries calmy and escalate complex issues when necessary.
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and a willingness to complete an on-site criminal record check upon hire.

Primary Responsibilities

• Monitor real-time RFID system traffic to ensure guest compliance with resort policies and conduct daily audit reports to verify eligibility and valid access.
• Identify violations, tactfully reviewing security camera footage to collect evidence and accurately log incidents.
• Respond professionally to guest emails regarding product eligibility, ticketing policies, and penalties involved with violations.
• Maintain effective communication with the Lift Operations team to support and resolve RFID issues.
• Following operational guidance from the Access Audit Supervisor and Lead Head Access Audit Technician.
