Job summary

Tyndale University seeks a Writing Consultant within Learning Services to provide tailored writing and academic support in a welcoming environment. Most sessions are one-on-one, up to an hour, delivered online or in-person, focusing on writing, note-taking, researching, and time management.

You will schedule appointments, guide students, ensure integrity of work, and partner with the Manager, Learning Services.

Qualifications

• Current Tyndale student in good academic standing.
• Ability to analyze and prioritize concerns under time constraints.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one writing and academic support up to one hour.
• Schedule appointments and handle cancellations.
• Promote a professional, welcoming atmosphere in Learning Services.
• Assist with training sessions and staff meetings.
• Ensure adherence to academic integrity policies.
