Job summary

Prep Academy Tutors seeks in-person Tutor–BC Certified to provide one-on-one tutoring in students' homes around Vancouver, BC. The role targets learners from age four to twenty, with flexible scheduling and the potential to be your own boss. Compensation is competitive, with wages starting between $30 and $40 per hour.

Qualifications

• BC certified teachers in Vancouver area or candidates close to education degree completion.
• Energetic and enthusiastic teachers with teaching experience.
• Strong communication and customer-service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic support based on BC curriculum in students' homes or at partners' sites.
• Provide supplemental assignments to promote material understanding.
• Offer remedial and enrichment support for students.

Prep Academy Tutors is looking for in-person tutors for 1-on-1 tutoring in students homes and at select clubs in the Vancouver area. We deliver flexible and personalized tutoring programs to our students. We specialize in all subject areas and cater to students from age four to twenty. We hire only the best - certified teachers, or those in the process of completing their degree in Education and pay much higher wages than the industry average.
