Humber River Health Lighting New Ways In Healthcare.

Humber River Health (HRH) is a prominent 1.8 million square foot, fully digital acute care facility in Canada, equipped with state-of-the-art technology and catering to a wide range of medical needs. It serves a population of over 850,000 individuals residing in the northwest Greater Toronto Area. HRH operates 722 acute inpatient beds at the Wilson site, with over 4000 staff, approximately 800 physicians and over 1,000 volunteers. Position Summary

Join a supportive team of academic family doctors at the Schulich Family Medicine Teaching Unit (FMTU)! We are looking for a family physician with an interest in medical education to establish a full-time family practice at the Schulich FMTU. The position will include regular supervision of residents and medical students, and potential for leadership roles. Candidates will be working with equity deserving populations and must have an interest in pursuing additional training in medical education and leadership. An interest in low-risk obstetrics is welcomed but not mandatory. The successful candidate must have an MD degree, a medical license to practice in Ontario, a certification in Family Medicine from the College of Family Physicians of Canada and be eligible for a faculty appointment at the University of Toronto.
