Shared Health Manitoba and the University of Manitoba invite applications for a full-time General Surgeon specializing in Breast Surgery to join the Section of General Surgery in Winnipeg. The successful candidate will be eligible for an Assistant Professor rank or higher, with remuneration commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The role includes managing a busy breast clinic, performing oncoplastic procedures, and collaborating with Plastic Surgery in a dynamic breast reconstruction

Qualifications

• Candidates certified or eligible for certification in General Surgery by RCPSC and licensed in Manitoba.

Responsibilities

• Manage busy breast clinic with breast surgeons and oncologists.
• Perform oncoplastic procedures and collaborate with Plastic Surgery.
• Participate in weekly multidisciplinary tumour boards, resident education and quality improvement initiatives.
