Qualifications

  • Valid Transport Canada Category M2 license.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of previous experience.
  • 737 Max, A320 and 747 certifications an asset.
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate strong organizational skills.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently perform all commercial aircraft maintenance activities in the hangar and on the ramp.
  • Ensure that all aircraft documents are duly completed.
  • Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified.
  • Follow the Maintenance Service Control Manual and Transport Canada regulations.
  • Participate in training courses as assigned by management.
  • Respect the SMS policy (Safety Management System).
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
  • Assist in all other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

DIRECT SUPERVISOR: Aircraft Maintenance Service Manager YQA
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Efficiently perform all commercial aircraft maintenance activities upon request in the hangar and on the ramp;
  • Ensure that all aircraft documents are duly completed;
  • Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified;
  • Fulfill the tasks and responsibilities described in the Maintenance Service Control Manual and ensure compliance with Transport Canada standard regulations;
  • Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
  • Respect the SMS policy ("Safety Management System");
  • Maintain and ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times;
  • Assist in all other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
  • Valid Transport Canada Category M2 license;
  • Minimum of five (5) years of previous experience;
  • 737 Max, A320 and 747 certifications an asset;
  • Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate strong organizational skills;
  • Good organizational sense and ability to work under pressure;
  • Attention to detail;

EDUCATION:
  • Aircraft Maintenance Technical Diploma or equivalent.
