Children's Mental Health Ontario is seeking a dedicated ABA Therapist for their Urgent Response Services. This full-time role involves crisis support and training for parents of children with autism. In its Lead Agency role, Strides Toronto collaborates with 24 publicly funded infant, child and youth mental health (ICYMH) core service providers to design and implement system-level improvements that promote access, responsive service delivery and experience, and positive mental health outcomes for young people and families across Toronto’s diverse communities. ABOUT THE ROLE
TheABA Therapist, Urgent Response Servicesis a one-year full-time contract position that provide time-limited services developed to provide a rapid response to a specific, identified needs to prevent further escalation or risk of harm to the child or youth, other people or property. The intervener will provide crisis support, parent mediator training, coaching and consultation to parents/ caregivers of the children and youth registered in the Urgent Response Service to improve child and family quality of life and prepare for successful participation in community programs. Work week would be 35 hours with regularly scheduled evenings and weekend work.
Salary range:$58,001.00 to $67,543.00 per annum.
