ABA Instructor Therapist

Job Title: ABA Instructor Therapist

Location: Scarborough (Morningside and Sheppard)

Job Description:

Join our team at ABA in the GTA Autism Behaviour Therapy and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals with autism. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced ABA Instructor Therapist to provide therapy in-home and throughout the community. This position involves working during the day in July and August.

Schedule:

Mondays - Thursdays: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Fridays: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) therapy in the home and community.
  • Implement a variety of ABA techniques, including prompting, prompt fading, error correction, and task analysis.
  • Accurately collect and maintain data on target skills and behaviours.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with the client and their family.
  • Create an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Behavioural Science Technology, Autism and Behavioural Science, or a related field.
  • CPI or equivalent crisis prevention and de-escalation training.
  • Valid Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS) or criminal record check.
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Valid driver’s license or a reliable mode of travel.
