Job summary

Monarch House is seeking a part-time Supervised Instructor Therapist to support children and youth with autism spectrum disorders. You will implement ABA-based plans, collect data, and collaborate with BCBA/BCaBA/lead therapists in 1:1 and small-group settings across Ontario clinics.

You will work Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm ET, with flexible options to join different clinic locations. The role offers supervision hours, mentorship, and comprehensive benefits where eligible.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in ABA, ECE, EA, or related field.
• Experience working with groups of children in classroom, childcare, camp, or educational settings.
• Passion for engaging, play-based learning through crafts, songs, games and movement.
• Experience developing communication, social, play, self-regulation and school readiness skills.
• Ability to plan, prepare and adapt activities for diverse learning and behavioural needs.
• Strong classroom management to foster a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing clinical and operational priorities.
• Experience implementing ABA principles and behaviour support strategies; supervision under BCBA is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans based on best practices.
• Use systematic methods and behavioural strategies to support client behaviour change.
• Contribute to ABA programs for children/youth in 1:1 or small groups.
• Monitor functions of behaviour and respond safely.
• Adhere to ABA procedures and protocols.
• Create a positive, engaging client environment.
• Track client progress via data collection and graphing.
• Prepare teaching materials and organize materials and spaces.
• Maintain documentation and incident reports in required systems.
• Organize program binders with documentation and data for each client.
• Support personal care tasks as needed and maintain workspace cleanliness.
• Assist with indirect work and data collection under clinician direction.

Education
