Job summary

The role requires deep Ab Initio expertise, Python data processing, and strong knowledge of relational databases, with a focus on performance tuning and data modeling. You will collaborate with stakeholders and mentor junior developers in a fast-paced, enterprise setting.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on Ab Initio development experience.
• Proficient in ETL design and development using Ab Initio tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Ab Initio (GDE, Co-Operating System, and EME).
• Develop and implement conductors, vectors, and metaprogramming techniques.
• Work on PDL, resource pool management, and dynamic lookups.
• Build scalable data pipelines using Python for data processing and automation.
• Perform data modeling, database design, and performance tuning.
• Work extensively with large datasets in Oracle or other relational databases.
• Optimize Ab Initio graphs for performance and efficiency.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and translate data requirements.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards.
