Job summary

CoFoMo Inc. in Montreal, Canada is seeking a data engineer to design, develop and maintain data extraction, transformation and loading processes, and to build dimensional data warehouses and operational data stores that meet business needs.

You will collaborate with data analysts and BI specialists, ensure data quality and security, automate pipelines, and apply governance and privacy requirements while leveraging Oracle or PostgreSQL and tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Qualifications

• Hold a bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration or a related field.
• Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
• Master the design, development and maintenance of dimensional data warehouses or operational data stores.
• Leverage Oracle or PostgreSQL databases in enterprise environments.
• Develop data extraction, transformation and loading processes as well as data pipelines.
• Use visualization and reporting tools such as Qlik Sense, Tableau or Power BI.
• Participate in projects carried out using agile approaches.
• Understand the principles of data modeling and data warehouse architecture.
• Analyze complex needs and recommend solutions adapted to business objectives.
• Demonstrate rigor, autonomy and excellent analytical skills.
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
