Job summary

Airbus is seeking two Repair Design Engineering Specialists for the A220 programme, based in Mirabel, QC. You will join the In-Service Engineering - Structures & Cabin team to provide timely, consistent technical solutions for customer support questions across fleets.

The role requires a mechanical/aerospace background, CATIA V5 and Enovia proficiency, and strong French/English communication to collaborate with teams in Toulouse and Australia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with ≥10 years in aerospace.
• Knowledge of CATIA V5 (R19 preferred) and Enovia.
• Fluent in French and English; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Actively support the In-Service Engineering Structures & Cabin team to meet customer expectations.
• Design repairs for metallic and composite damages surpassing ASRP limits.
• Design generic repairs for metallic and composite structures.
• Provide technical support to operators on repairability of the A220 fleet.
• Investigate in-service structural issues affecting reliability and dispatchability.
• Participate in design and support of structural modifications.
