Work Schedule:

37.5 Hours/week, 9-5 Monday to Friday

Interview Process:

1 in-person interview with the hiring manager - this will be 1 hour in length.

Decisioning process on offers:

Decision will be made within a few days of final interview.

The Risk Management team is focused on non-financial risk (third party, fraud). The team is all full-time employees.

Who Will the Candidate Be Working with on a Daily Basis?

1. Working with info sec partners.
2. Reporting into the hiring manager.
3. Partnering with Senior Business Analyst on the team.
4. Consulting with agency partners.

Job Description:

1. Develop metrics for the purposes of reporting and writing reporting requirements which are provided to the tech partners who will build out reports.
2. Work with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.
3. Gather requirements from business units and translate those to programmers and developers.
4. Prepare cost-benefit and return-on-investment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation.
5. Demonstrate an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities.
6. Support one or more highly complex business processes.
7. Work on multiple projects as a project team member.
8. Serve as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs.

Must Have Requirements:

1. 3+ years of experience as a Business Data Consultant.
2. Operational resilience knowledge and experience working with data.
3. Experience with reporting solution design.
4. 3+ years experience developing metrics (KPIs & KRIs).

Nice to Have:

1. Knowledge in operational risk management.
2. OSFI or other regulatory experience would be helpful.
3. 3rd party risk, fraud, cyber, incident reporting knowledge would be great.
4. Banking experience preferred.
5. CBAP.
6. PowerBI experience.
