You will perform advanced diagnostics with OEM and aftermarket tools, conduct routine maintenance, and test repairs to ensure safety and quality. A Red Seal Journeyperson certificate is a strong asset; 3–5 years of experience required; wage $23–$35 per hour; full-time, permanent.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years automotive repair experience.
  • Technical/Applied Science Certificate required.
  • Red Seal Journeyperson certificate is a strong asset.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair engine, electrical, brake, steering, suspension, and drivetrain systems.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair engine, electrical, brake, steering, suspension, and drivetrain systems.
  • Perform advanced diagnostics using OEM and aftermarket scan tools and equipment.
  • Identify and resolve drivability, performance, and safety issues.
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections including oil changes, tire rotations and alignments, brake services, fluid checks, battery replacement, and multi-point inspections.
  • Ensure all maintenance and repairs meet safety and quality standards.
  • Complete repairs according to OEM specifications and procedures.

  • Perform advanced diagnostics using OEM and aftermarket scan tools and equipment.

  • Complete repairs according to OEM specifications and procedures.
  • Replace worn or damaged components as required.
  • Test and verify proper operation after repairs.
  • Collaborate with certified technicians and other team members to diagnose and resolve complex issues, contributing technical knowledge and supporting effective problem solving.
  • Use internal digital tools to update information related to repair orders in accordance with the dynamics of daily operations
  • Follow company procedures, OH&S regulations, and shop safety protocols at all time.
  • Keep work bays, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and in safe operating condition.
  • Road test vehicles when required and permitted to verify repairs.

NOTE: A Red Seal Journeyperson Certificate is considered a strong asset and may be taken into account when discussing salary for the right candidate.

Candidates without certification will also be considered if they can demonstrate equivalent hands-on experience and solid technical knowledge in the automotive field.

Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and proven ability to successfully perform the role.
