Job summary

Ericsson Canada Inc. is seeking a motivated student for a 12–16 month co‑op in Ottawa. You will contribute to Web 2.0 frontend and backend services for DevOps dashboards, while helping build CI/CD infrastructure and test automation, including Kubernetes-based deployments.

Ideal candidates are pursuing CS or ECE, proficient in Python/JavaScript, familiar with Linux, Git, and ElasticSearch, and eager to work in a collaborative, delivery‑oriented team.

Qualifications

• Student on Computer Science or Electrical/Electronic Engineering programs.
• Strive for delivery of product and test code that improves the advantages of a DevOps infrastructure.
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Linux.
• Collaborative and outstanding teammate.
• Familiarity with databases such as ElasticSearch.
• React or Angular full stack web application development.
• Web page authoring with HTML, PHP, CSS.
• Source Code Management systems, eg. Git.
• 2.7+ GPA or equivalent.
• Available for a 12 - 16 months Co-op.
• Actively enrolled in an accredited undergraduate on a full-time basis at a 4-year college or university at the time of the Co-op.

Your Pay

The salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

The salary range for this position is

• Bachelor’s degree: CAD 25.50–34.50 per hour
• Master’s degree: CAD $37.00 per hour
