Position: Heavy Truck Driver (Graveyard Shift)

Location: Port Coquitlam Distribution Center, BC

Do you fit the part?
  • Valid Class 5 license (Class 3 is an asset)
  • Experience driving a 5-ton truck
  • Manual and powered forklift and pallet jack experience (asset)
  • Clean drivers abstract (preferred)
  • Dangerous goods experience (asset)
  • Electronic log usage (asset)
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to work with many teams
  • Ability to lift items up to 50lbs and knowledge of safety procedures
  • Effective communication skills, both in person and over the phone
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills
What You'll Do:
  • Operate trucks of various sizes to transport goods to designated locations.
  • Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips.
  • Ensure safe and timely delivery of goods.
  • Maintain accurate logs of work hours and vehicle status.
  • Follow traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with shippers, managers, and customers.
  • Handle and secure cargo properly.
  • Report incidents or accidents promptly.
  • Keep the vehicle clean and in good condition.
  • Secure the delivery store after operations.
  • Use the Checkmate App for reporting.
  • Follow company policies, especially regarding safety and health regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
