Do you fit the part

• Valid Class 5 license (Class 3 is an asset)
• Experience driving a 5ton truck
• Manual and powered forklift and pallet jack experience an asset
• Dangerous goods experience is an asset
• Electronic log usage is an asset
• Great people skills and ability to integrate with many teams
• Ability to lift items up to 50lbs and knowledge of workplace safety procedures and the ability to adhere to the Lordco Occupational Health and Safety program
• Ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Time management and problemsolving skills

What Youll Do :

• Operate 3ton 5ton 10 ton or tractortrailer trucks to transport goods to designated locations.
• Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections of the vehicle.
• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate logs of working hours vehicle service and repair status.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with Shippers Managers and customers.
• Handle and secure cargo properly to prevent damage.
• Report any incidents or accidents to the HD Truck Manager.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good working condition.
• Ensure the Delivery Store is left secure locked up and armed.
• Use Checkmate App to report in on the set times.
• Comply with company policies and procedures giving special attention to ensure safety and health regulations in the warehouse and stores are followed and enforced.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
