Are you a good fit?

• Valid Class 5 license (Class 3 is an asset)
• Experience driving a 5-ton truck
• Forklift and pallet jack experience (asset)
• Clean drivers abstract preferred
• Dangerous goods experience (asset)
• Electronic log usage (asset)
• Great interpersonal skills and team integration abilities
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and adhere to safety procedures
• Effective communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and demonstrate problem-solving skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate various trucks (3-ton, 5-ton, 10-ton, tractor-trailer) for transporting goods
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips
• Ensure safe, timely deliveries
• Maintain accurate logs of hours, vehicle status, and repairs
• Follow traffic laws and safety regulations
• Communicate effectively with shippers, managers, and customers
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage
• Report incidents or accidents promptly
• Keep vehicles clean and in good condition
• Secure and arm the delivery store after shifts
• Use Checkmate App for reporting
• Follow safety and health policies in warehouse and stores
• Perform other duties as assigned
