Qualifications

Summary:

Under the supervision of CNC department head, the incumbent will set up and run CNC machines to prepare parts to the specifications for ongoing projects.

Job Terms:

Permanent, Full Time, shift rotation

Responsibilities:

• Program , set-up and machine large parts on 3/5-axis gantry-style CNC machines
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work with limited supervision while staying on task to meet strict deadlines
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Solid 5- axis CNC experience, 2+ years of experience is preferred
• Willingness and ability to learn required control software
• Experience with Fanuc and Heidenhain controls is an asset
• Programming experience in WorkNC is preferred
• Knowledge of other CAM programs is an asset
• Availability to work rotational shifts and/or steady afternoon shift
• Ability to multi-task, while paying attention to detail
