Job Opportunity: 4th Class Power Engineer at West Fraser, Edson, Alberta

West Fraser is seeking a dedicated and experienced 4th Class Power Engineer to join our Engineering team at Edson Forest Products in Edson, Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain a safe work environment.
  2. Ensure the consistent operation of the Thermal Plant.
  3. Facilitate the reliable supply of services to the sawmill.
  4. Assist Kiln Operators when appropriate.
Qualifications:
  • Proven skills and experience in power engineering.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team-building skills.
  • Problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Desire to progress, learn, grow, and succeed.
  • Physical ability to work 12-hour shifts.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Hourly pay varies based on experience, education, and location.
