Job description

This role supports the Shop Foreman/Supervisor and involves maintaining and repairing equipment in the company’s maintenance and repair shop.

Primary Scope of Role:

  • Make field service calls to repair.
  • Work on call rotation shifts for winter operations support.
  • Troubleshoot, adjust, overhaul, and maintain passenger vehicles, heavy trucks & trailers on site and within the shop.

Position Requirements:

  • Experience in construction, paving & aggregates equipment is needed.
  • 421A Certification.
  • Must have own tools.
  • Automotive experience preferred but not required.
  • Mobile field service experience is needed.
  • Willing to work on equipment, trucks, and small engines as required.
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
  • Understanding of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems, and components.
  • Safety certification inspections.
  • Comfortable using a computer, the internet, and other electronic resources.
  • Superb communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Demonstrate versatility and resourcefulness in overcoming business challenges.
