Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) license.
• 3+ years of troubleshooting experience in an automated manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of Millwright experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, and bearings.
• Ability to work a rotating continental shift.
• Strong commitment to safety and preventative maintenance best practices.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated production equipment.
• Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs in a timely manner to minimize downtime.
• Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Support production by responding to breakdowns and identifying root causes of recurring issues.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.
• Conduct equipment inspections and recommend improvements to increase reliability and performance.
• Work closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to support plant objectives.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and document completed work orders.

This is a great opportunity to join a manufacturing environment where you will play a key role in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be a fully licensed Millwright who has completed their apprenticeship and brings strong troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance experience from a manufacturing setting.

Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

• Perform preventative, predictive, and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery


• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated production equipment

• Install, align, dismantle, and move industrial machinery and mechanical equipment

Mandatory Requirements:

• Valid 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) license


• Will consider 3Y/4Y Apprentices that have completed all of their schooling, Must have 3+ years of troubleshooting experience in an automated manufacturing environment


• 5+ years of Millwright experience within a manufacturing environment


• Strong troubleshooting and repair experience with industrial machinery


• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, motors, and bearings


• Ability to work a rotating continental shift


• Strong commitment to safety and preventative maintenance best practices


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment

Apprentice Rate: $35.00/hour, RRSP Matching, Benefits after 1-Month
