3rd Year Apprentice Heavy Duty Technician

Join our team at Calmont Group, a growing Canadian-based company with branches across Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Ontario. We are dedicated to delivering best-in-class transportation solutions and are looking for a 3rd Year Apprentice Heavy Duty Technician at our Calmont Leasing location in Winnipeg, MB.

What You’ll Do

Under general supervision, perform skilled work in the adjustment, maintenance, and repair of light and heavy-duty trucks. Responsibilities include:

  • Review work orders to understand tasks.
  • Interpret work orders and technical manuals to diagnose faults.
  • Perform repairs and replace defective parts accurately and efficiently.
  • Examine vehicles for additional safety or service needs.
  • Test repaired vehicles to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
  • Complete detailed reports for work performed.
What We’re Looking For
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 3rd Year Apprentice Heavy Duty Technician.
  • At least 2 years of industry-related experience.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License; Class 3 considered an asset.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
