Roles/Requirements:

• Install, replace, repair, and test electrical circuits and equipment such as electrical controls and panel boxes, splice, join, and connect wires, test and measure voltage, loads, ground faults, and circuit integrity; troubleshoot and isolate faults.
• Notice potential problems to prevent premature and unexpected breakdowns or callbacks.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Strong ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to follow layouts and install electrical components correctly.

Qualifications:

• HVAC experience is an asset.
• Minimum of 2 years electrical experience in Alberta.
• Minimum of a Grade 12 education; college or trade school diploma is preferred.
• Flexibility to work overtime when required (evening, weekend).
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Superior communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Able to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform various service projects.
• Work well under pressure.
• Proven ability to effectively finish projects to meet deadlines.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Clean driver’s abstract and successfully complete a background check.
• Experience reading wiring prints and schematics.
• Pipe pull, terminate experience.
• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
• Familiar with CEC and NEC standards.
• Preferred: AWP, scissor, fall protection, and first aid certification.
• Controls experience is an asset.
• Safety-conscious and experienced in high-paced fabrication shop environments.
