Principle Duties and Responsibilities
Control Expenses
- Protect company assets according to LIDS Retail policies.
- Assist in preparing store schedules that ensure proper coverage within wage control guidelines.
- Manage store inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, price changes, and product counts.
- Maintain proper documentation and record keeping in compliance with policies and legal requirements.
- Open and close the store following procedures outlined in the Operations Manual.
- Support and adhere to all company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Participate in training programs, set sales and task goals, and follow up regularly.
- Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on store operations.
- Ensure compliance with policies, including inventory and funds security.
- Perform duties of subordinates as needed.
- Communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Job Required Knowledge & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent plus at least one year of relevant experience.
- Proven ability to generate sales while minimizing loss.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in computer operation and relevant software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and work with hands overhead.
- Standing for up to 100% of work time.
- Ability to work independently.
Preferred Knowledge & Skills
Education: Less than high school graduate, high school graduate or equivalent.
