General Position Summary
  • Produce sales gains by providing excellent customer service.

  • Provide consistent, documented appraisals of sales performance, offering feedback on strengths and opportunities while aligning with Company Objectives.
  • Adhere to current visual guidelines, including proper merchandising, signage, and store cleanliness.
  • Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the Dress Code Policy.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Control Expenses

  • Protect company assets within guidelines of LIDS Retail policies.
  • Assist in preparing store schedules that ensure proper coverage and comply with wage control guidelines.
  • Manage store inventory accurately, including receiving, transferring, pricing, and conducting product counts.
  • Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping per policies and legal requirements.
  • Open and close the store following procedures outlined in the Operations P&P Manual.
  • Support and adhere to all policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Participate in training programs, set sales and task goals, and follow up regularly.
  • Assist in recruiting and training store personnel on operations and procedures.
  • Encourage compliance with policies, including inventory, funds, and property security.
  • Perform duties of subordinates as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Job Required Knowledge & Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent plus at least one year of relevant experience.
  • Proven ability to achieve sales results while minimizing loss.
  • Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in operating computers and relevant software.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb ladders and work with hands overhead.
  • Standing for up to 100% of the work time.
  • Ability to work independently.
