3rd Grade teacher

Saint John's School of Little Canada is looking for a dedicated 3rd grade teacher. This teacher will work with our dynamic and talented team who partner with parents in bringing out the best in our students.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide an engaging learning environment where students understand and meet expectations
2. Maintain high academic standards, while challenging each student to always do their best
3. Instill strong character, Catholic values, and a love for learning
4. Work with students who have IEPs or need accommodations to reach their full potential
5. Be committed to continually developing skills and improving as a teacher
6. Partner with our parents and other staff members to ensure the success of each student
7. Honor and support school initiatives, administrative decisions, and the vision of our archdiocese
8. Participate as a member of the faculty team in professional development, committee responsibilities, and school initiatives
9. Design engaging lessons that support and enhance our curriculum
10. Form assessments that are meaningful and demonstrate the student’s level of mastery
11. Take pride in their job as a Catholic school teacher
