Job summary

Strike Group in Western Canada is seeking Apprentice Electricians to install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems for climate control, security, lighting, and power. With shops in Calgary, Fort Saskatchewan, Bonnyville, and Saskatoon, our E&I team works on local projects as well as site projects across Western Canada.

Qualifications

  • Must be a registered 3rd or 4th year Apprentice with the appropriate provincial authority.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug & alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

  • Install, alter, repair, and maintain various electrical systems and related equipment.
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical code specifications.
  • Plan layouts and illustrations of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
  • Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services.
  • Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards and defects to ensure compliance with codes.

Position Summary

Apprentice Electricians possess the full range of knowledge required to install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems for a variety of purposes, including climate control, security, lighting, power sources and communications. With shops in Calgary, Fort Saskatchewan, Bonnyville, and Saskatoon, the E&I team works on local projects as well as site projects located throughout Western Canada.


Apprentice Electricians possess the full range of knowledge required to install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems for a variety of purposes, including climate control, security, lighting, power sources and communications. With shops in Calgary, Fort Saskatchewan, Bonnyville, and Saskatoon, the E&I team works on local projects as well as site projects located throughout Western Canada.
