What we would like you to bring to the table:

1. Experience in wiring and troubleshooting electrical circuits, bending and installing EMT conduit, is considered a must.
2. Experience working within the commercial environment is an asset.
3. Ability to assist the Journeypersons and Lead Hands with various electrical tasks.
4. Ability to interpret and follow drawings/plans and complete the scope of work.
5. Provide material requirements to Journeyperson/Lead Hand for distribution.
6. Able to inspect completed work to ensure compliance with project quality standards.
7. Fire alarm experience is considered an asset.
8. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects effectively and efficiently.
9. Have fundamental knowledge of lockout/tag out.
10. Able to work in the full range of environmental conditions: including outside in all weather.
11. Knowledge of Nova Scotia Electrical Safety Code, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and all other applicable legislation required.
12. Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:

1. Ability to work in a physical fast-paced environment.
2. 3rd and 4th block electrical certificate or equivalent experience.
3. Willingness to travel to all job sites.
4. Must have a strong work ethic and be reliable.
5. Must have a valid driver's license.
