Job summary

ADF Group is seeking a drafting and validation professional to analyze 3D models and generate accurate shop drawings and CNC files. You will ensure data integrity, extract reports, and collaborate with engineering, production, and projects teams to improve processes.

Responsibilities include producing technical documentation, validating components, and supporting operations with BIM standards and best practices. Fluency in French and English is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma required: high school or DEP in industrial drafting.
• 1–3 years of experience in 3D modeling or steel structure detailing.
• Experience with Tekla Structures or similar software (Revit, SolidWorks, Advance Steel).
• Proficiency with MS Office suite (Word, Excel).
• Excellent written and spoken French and English.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the 3D model to meet manufacturing requirements.
• Complete and validate technical information in drawings.
• Extract and organize data from the model (reports, measurements, etc.).
• Resolve technical issues related to production.
• Ensure data quality and integrity.
• Produce and revise shop drawings and assembly details.
• Prepare drawings and CNC files.
• Interpret materials and manufacturing processes.
• Produce the required technical documentation.
• Participate in the validation of modeled components.
• Contribute to manufacturing and assembly methods.
• Improve processes and models.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and projects teams.
• Apply BIM standards and best practices.
• Provide technical support to operations.
